Spring Day Trip - Strawberry Festival in Panchatoula, Louisiana

DATE & LOCATION

Apr 10, 2027, 10:00 PM – 10:05 PM

Ponchatoula, Ponchatoula, LA, USA

ABOUT THE TRIP

Vintage Travelers will enjoy the 56th Annual Strawberry Festival – one of the largest and longest

running festivals in all of Louisiana! Enjoy two stages of great live entertainment, carnival rides,

over 40 Vendor Booths representing non profits from the local community, and a showcase of

delicious food for every taste! Don’t miss this amazing day trip to welcome spring in 2027!

Our motorcoach will spot at the St. Dominic Toulouse Building parking lot in Jackson at 8:00AM

and depart at 8:30AM. We will make a rest stop at the Louisiana Welcome Center below McComb,

en route. Upon arrival in Ponchatoula, we will all enter the Festival together and enjoy the entire

afternoon at our leisure! Every vendor booth will display their wares and products, and our

purchases will benefit each of their missions! If you enjoy our state fair, there is a similar midway

setup to enjoy fun and thrilling rides for the young at heart! We can also enjoy the strawberry

eating competition for some friendly rivalry and lots of laughs. There will be plenty of great

entertainment on two stages, featuring live bands, singers and future stars. For lunch today,

enjoy your choice of favorite festival offerings, such as: seafood baked potatoes, Cajun meat pies,

boiled crawfish, shrimp etouffee, and of course – strawberry shortcake and strawberry beignets!

Everyone will be on their own for lunch, so you can get whatever you would like!

We will enjoy taking it all in for an afternoon full of fun. We will all see why over 300,000 visitors

attend the Strawberry Festival every spring. Be sure to stop by Farmer’s Row on North 6th Street

to purchase a flat of fresh Louisiana strawberries or a jar of homemade jam or jelly from one of

Ponchatoula’s local farmers. When buying your berries, look for the sign “Quality Berries from a

Quality Farmer”—this ensures you’re buying directly from a local farm and taking home the

freshest strawberries available. After a fun day of great entertainment, we will load our bus and

take a quick ride around the town to see if any local shops catch our eye.

We will then say goodbye to Louisiana and begin our return trip homeward. We will make a rest stop and a snack

break along the Interstate, and arrive back in Jackson by 7:45PM after spending this memorable

day together!
